2.         Advice on appointment and other matters concerning MOs (GREF).

3.         Advice on Career prospects of GREF MO’s

4.         Advice on payment of compensation under WC Act n1923 and CGS(EDP)Rules.

5.         Advice non attachment/posting on medical grounds.

6.         Medical standards, medical boards, medical and dental examination,,

7.         Medical treatment.

 8.        Maintenance of medical records and health statistics.

9.         Maintenance of malaria, morbidity and mortality date

10.       Maintenance of accident statistics(veh/worksite).

11.       Monitoring of med advance and re-imbursement claim.

12.       Processing of cases for extension of service beyond 55 yrs LMC pers.

13.       Processing of cases with Min of Health pertaining to medical advance for GREF pers and offrs for specialized treatment.

14.       Provision of artificial appliances.

15.       Processing of case of medical advance /re-imbursement.

16.       Forecasting  of medical manpower requirement.

17.       Forecasting of medical manpower requirement.

18.       Supervision of health status of personnel proceeding/returning from abroad.

19.       Arrangement of initial medical exam of GREF offrs.

20.       Family Planning, control, co-ordination, reporting with Projects, BRDB and Ministry of Health and Family welfare.
 

21.       Provision of cool rooms to Projects.

22.       Appeal of Prospective recruits against decision of GREF Centre auth on medical and physical standards and assessment of age.

23.       Determination of medical and physical standards for various trades and categorises of GREF personnel.

24.       Scrutiny of MMF of med stores of various projects for issue by med stores depots.

25.       To provide information to projects on alternative sources of medical supplies for essential drugs.

26.       Approval of med bds offrs and invalidment boards.

27.       Disposal of fatal case documents.

28.       Implementation of national level immunization pgme.

29.       Monthly review of position of paramedical staff in Project and allotment of priorities of posting to GREF Centre, Pune.

30.       Study leave of GREF Medical Officers.

31.       Research Projects study of health problems of BRO.

32.       Liaison with DGAFMS   and 3DsMS on medical problems and posting of AD Corps Offrs to DGBR.

33.       Issue of Technical Instructions.

34.       Inspection of medical non-medical units.

35.       Confidential reports of Medical/Dental Officers.

36.       Sanction for procurement of medical eqpt by Project.

37.       Sanction for holding Annual  /Periodical/Promotion medical bd of offrs.

38.       Sanction for holding categorization/re-categorisation medical  board GREF offrs.
